Step-By-Step Guidelines For O-Level Prep Students
Step 1
Complete an exit survey distributed by Student Service Department. Kindly make sure that you provide accurate information (eg: email address and local and home country contact details) from the start so that you do not run into any problems down the line. This will help to make things much easier on you.
Step 2
After examination, if you would like to
a) Wait for results in SingaporeAs to hold a Student’s Pass, you are required to attend classes regularly and to maintain good attendance rate. Kindly approach your consultants if you have any doubts on course arrangement and course fee payment.
b) Wait for results in home country
You are required to drop by to Hanbridge for Student’s Pass cancellation by 17/11/2009. Kindly bring along your flight ticket, Student’s Pass and relevant documents.
Warning: For those students who failed to do either one of the abovementioned, prompt action will be taken (eg: lodge a report to ICA and police station). He/she will be made to bear all consequences should any matter occur arising.
Step 3
Password slips will be posted to Hanbridge. Student Service Department will scan and email the slip to individual students. Kindly make sure your email address and contact details are accurate.
Step 4
Be familiar with Polytechnic courses, minimum requirement and the COP (Cut-Off-Points). The information can be obtained from the individual Polytechnic websites as follows:

Step 5
The tentative period for the release of results of the 2009 GCE ‘O’ Level Examination is between
12 – 14 January 2010. You may retrieve your results on www.seab.gov.sg. The online registration of Polytechnics will be commenced on the same day as the official announcement of the GCE ‘O’ Level Examination results. Normally, the registration will be held over a period of five (5) calendar days (including Sunday), starting from 3pm on the 1st day of registration until 4pm on the last day of registration.
Reminder: You are encouraged to register for all five (5) polytechnics as early as possible. You are allowed to select 3 to 5 choices of courses in the order of your preference. Therefore, please be familiar with the courses offered by different polytechnics. Kindly key in the following details in your registrations:

If you are shortlisted by Polytechnic, an enrolment package will be sent to the correspondence address. By sending it to Hanbridge, we will inform you at once and to guide you throughout the application process.
Step 6
Result and certificate collection slips will be posted to Hanbridge. Do drop by to Hanbridge to collect your slips.
Reminder: If you have cancelled your Student’s Pass, you will need to apply an entry visa to enter to Singapore. It can be applied directly at embassy or through travel agency. Regarding the entry visa application, kindly check with the respective bodies as early as possible.
